Too little, too late

Writing

My journey had taken a different turn when I read your words. A thousand ‘what ifs’ went unanswered. I had no idea how far down the road you were but, as much as I wanted to believe you, I had my doubts. There will never be a way to turn back.

  1. I see only strength and courage in the unequivocal fact that the (your) journey had taken a different turn. To me it shows that the decision to do so must have taken a lot of introspection, tears, letting go and finally courage to put your feet on a different path.

Hence you state it with so much conviction. You own that decision. I see rationality in questioning “I had no idea how far down the road you were…”. Finally, protecting your self, “There will never be a way to turn back.” Strong thought and writing.

  2. The unanswered “what ifs” won’t find an answer. By me they became regrets. Wish you heartly more luck, and thanks for writing.

    1. Thank you! I love yours too. I just beat you too this and read and commented on your post. A cool idea but I’m a LONG way off commenting on any book ideas. Thanks for the tag though…maybe it’s the inspiration I need! X
